  • Samaritans - This organisation provides confidential emotional support, 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or despair, including those which may lead to suicide. Support is also available by email.
  • SANEline - A national out-of-hours telephone helpline offering emotional support and information for people affected by mental health problems.
  • C.A.L.L. Helpline - Offers emotional support and information/literature on Mental Health and related matters to the people of Wales.
  • National Debtline - The helpline that provides Free confidential and independent advice on how to deal with debt problems.

  • Journeys-supporting people to find their own route to recovery from depression.
  • Alzheimer's Society-A membership organisation, which works to improve the quality of life of people affected by dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
  • Cruse Bereavement Care Cymru- Bereavement Care exists to promote the well-being of bereaved people and to enable anyone bereaved by death to understand their grief and cope with their loss.
  • Hafal-delivers a range of services to people with severe mental health illness including direct support and advice, support in a crisis, contact with others by phone, advocacy, support in a group setting, introductions for befriending, and employment and training projects.
  • Manic Depression Fellowship Wales-works to enable people in Wales who are affected by bipolar disorder to take control of their lives
  • AWETU-organisation dedicated solely to working with the public and private sector to promote and foster the mental well-being of Black and Minority Ethnic individuals, families, and communities throughout Wales.
  • Gofal Cymru-provide support and assistance for people with mental illnesses to enable them to manage their mental health, overcome stigma and live independently
  • Barry College-The College has a range of excellent facilities for you to use during your time at College. It also has some facilities for use by the general public, whether you are a student or not.
  • Bro Morgannwg NHS TRUST-ABM University NHS Trust is the largest in Wales, with 16,000 staff covering a population of 600,000 across Swansea; Neath Port Talbot, Bridgend and the Western Vale of Glamorgan. 
  • Cardiff and Vale NHS Trust-It provides  hospital treatment for mental health care, care for elderly people and children as well as specialist dental services 
  • Careers Wales- information service for people of all ages wanting career advice
  • Citizens Advice Bureau- helps people resolve their legal, money and other problems by providing free, independent and confidential advice, and by influencing policymakers.
  • Job CentrePlus-is a government agency supporting people of working age from welfare into work, and helping employers to fill their vacancies. 
  • Mewn Cymru- Minority Ethnic Women's Network Wales (MEWN Cymru) is an umbrella body representing ethnic minority (visible and non visible) women across Wales, regardless of their age, religious observance, ethnicity or life choices.

      By Bus:

      Take any bus to Barry Town Centre and get off at King Square

       

      By Train:

      The closest rail station is the Barry Docks station (10 minute walk)

       

      By Car:

      Free Parking in Barry Town Centre.
