Western Vale Project
The Project is an open access mental health resource centre located in Llantwit Major supporting people with mental health problems.

Summary of aims & objectives:
Mind in the Vale's Mental Health Resource Centres aim to provide:
A social centre with activities shaped by the people who use it
Information on a wide range of issues and resources
Support for people in developing the skills, experience and confidence they need to find fulfilling occupations
Assistance in helping people get the help and support they need from other organisations
Services:
In addition to providing information, advice and support in a friendly setting, the Western Vale Project also organises activities, courses and events using a variety of community venues and resources.
Good value lunches are provided.
A range of courses aimed at creative and vocational development and achieving a sense of well-being.
Volunteering opportunities and support to develop the skills, experience and confidence needed to find fulfilling occupations.
Outreach service for information, advice and support.
Signposting to other agencies and organisations to help you get the support you need.
The Western Vale project is open for people to drop in Mon, Tues and Fri 10am to 4pm with various groups and activities at other times in a variety of other venues on other days.
Monday 10am – 4pm Open access drop-in Tuesday 10am – 4pm Open access drop-in Wednesday Courses. Thursday Fortnightly 5pm – 9pm Young Persons’ Group (user led) Friday 10am – 4pm Open access drop-in 2pm – quiz
