Wherever someone may live in the Vale of Glamorgan, there will be one of our Mental Health Resource Centres nearby which provide:

  • 1-2-1 appointments / Recovery Star
  • Up to date information on what’s available in the community
  • Signposting to other organisations
  • Support in developing the skills, experience and confidence to work towards recovery
  • Peer Support
  • Self help groups
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Practical and Social support

If you choose to access one of our resource centres we will offer you an initial assessment and the opportunity to take part in our recovery star assessment (click to see a pro forma).
Working with a person centred approach ensures the support plans which are developed based on the practical, social and emotional needs of each individual designed for people to take ownership of their recovery.

We work in line with social inclusion and signpost to courses, activities and organisations within the community and also work in partnership with organisations such as WEA to offer courses within each of our centres.

We believe that people can build meaningful and satisfying lives, whether or not they have ongoing mental health difficulties.
